Snow? Are You Kidding Me?
This is what I woke up to this morning. Snow.
I know what you're thinking. It's February. Snow + February = Normal, right? But not here, friends, not here! This is the Pacific Northwest for goodness sake. It just doesn't snow here that often. I mean, sure, it does, but not like this! Or this? Insanity.
Honestly I don't have all that much to complain about. It was just a dusting and it's all gone now. It's just the principle of the thing. I'm supposed to be extending the veg garden, starting seeds, and admiring my emerging daffodils!
Of course, last week when it was 55 degrees and sunny I was too sick to go outside. Sigh.
I know, I'm whining. I'll suck it up, I promise. But for now, can I just say: "Waaaaahhhhh!"
I guess I'm just really really really really really really ready for spring.

Hey, I like those. I find them both beautiful. But, I would like to see how they transform into a garden of blooms later.

I wasn't pleased with the snow myself (I'm in Salem), but it made a good excuse to get a fire in the new fireplace going LOL I cannot wait for warm!

I'm also in the Pacific Northwest. I feel the same way. Enough with the snow here! :) I was fooled into thinking spring was coming last week. Hope it's done this time so we can get and enjoy the garden.

This is the problem. Spring is so close you can almost touch it. Then Winter reinvigorates itself and puts everything back.

I'm not ready for spring. I was enjoying more snow. I love this part of winter yet- watching bud break but knowing I still have time to plan my garden in the warmth of my house.
But if it's any consolation- it really should be done now.

We were shocked by snow in our Nashville garden...this is one strange winter! Today it's 19 degrees...we usually have lows closer to 32!
I love your garden fence and gate and hope to see more of your garden expansion....I popped over here from Bloomingwriter's last post.
